Lakhbir Jaspal, Chief Executive Accord Housing Association
Lakhbir moved to Accord in 2001, having spent 7 years at Orbit Housing Association, the last 2 years as Assistant Director of Finance. Lakhbir is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accountancy and is member of its Registered Social Landlord Panel. He is also Deputy Chief Executive of the Accord Group and responsible for the management of Accord’s Finance, Information Services and Human Resources departments.
Wendy Powell, Director of Housing Services
Wendy has a Bachelor of Sciences degree and is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Housing. She has worked in housing services for Accord and its predecessors for over 27 years. She is one of the Executive Team fairness champions, with a passion for celebrating the diversity of our colleagues and customers. Linked to this, she is also the Executive Team sponsor on customer service and shares the lead on improving the governance of the organisation, ensuring that we are constantly striving for the highest standards of accountability and openness for the business. Wendy is based in our Darlaston office, located within Walsall MBC where Accord has the greater proportion of its housing and services and sits on local groups to represent Accord and other partner organisations through Walsall Housing Partnership.
Maureen Bradley Director of Care & Support
Maureen has a Masters degree in Business Administration as well as a number of other qualifications, gained whilst working for Social Services. Maureen came to Accord in March 2001 from Moseley and District Churches Housing Association where she was Assistant Director for Care and Housing Services. She has also worked for Birmingham Social Services in various different management, training and research posts. She is Chair of the NHF Care and Support Group, and Chair of Walsall’s Supporting People Providers Forum.
